The Royal Budha Supports the Royal Thai Consulate Celebrating the 87th Birthday of the Thai King
Last weekend The Royal Budha presented Nam Prik Pla Ra (spicy fish fillet with fermented Thai fish sauce and fresh mixed vegetables) & Khao neaw Tho Dum (sweet sticky rice with black bean in coconut milk) to guests at the Royal Thai Consulate to commemorate the 87th birthday of his Majesty King Bhumibol.
The consulate hosted a community gathering on Friday, 5th December to celebrate the occasion. The day was fun-filled from the morning right through to the evening. Activities started with “merit making “at 10am, signing of a well-wishing book for the king at 2pm, followed by lunch, traditional Thai performances and family entertainment and games. The evening ended with a candlelight vigil.
